The Matthiol is literally right next to nature — and in particular the Gorner Gorge. Wooden walkways along the cliffs will lead you past rippling streams and turquoise mountain pools. This is truly a unique sight for everyone and perfect for a family getaway.

Skiing is the next best thing to having wings… and Zermatt won’t disappoint you: 360km of groomed slopes for every level in the highest ski resort in Switzerland. We recommend the Gornergletscher(it’s the second largest in Switzerland) and the year-round open Matterhorn Ski Paradise. 

Zermatt is a hikers paradise. No matter whether you’re looking to climb the highest peaks (maybe even the summit of your life) or just enjoy a leisure hike, you’ll find exactly the path you’re looking for. We have hiking maps ready at hand and can help you figure out which routes are open. We may even know a few hidden routes, if you ask.

​​If you get hungry in the fresh mountain air, you should explore some of the many restaurants in the Zermatt area offering both Swiss specialties and international, contemporary dishes. Filet et Fils and Stafelalp is part of our offering and serves both classic mountain food and new classics with a fusion twist.

There’s a reason that many photography-lovers visit Zermatt every year; the ever-changing landscape, high peaks and famous motives simply keep on inspiring. Get your own perspective on the Matterhorn or find smaller motives like the Edelweiss. We’ll be happy to share both known photography spots and hidden gems.

​​For those of us who likes to take a walk on the wild side, heli-skiing is the way to go. We’re working with Air Zermatt to let you fly by helicopter and go way beyond the groomed slopes — on to the remotest areas. Together we arrange help-skiing, free riding or guided ski tours. It will be the ski trip of a lifetime.
